Tank Cure is an internal epoxy treatment for steel petrol tanks. Can be used to coat new tanks before painting. Also great for old tanks with rust and minor bottom leaks. It will give a robust coating that will last for years and even holds up to petrol with ethanol percentages up to 10%.
•For new steel tanks, use Tank Cure Cleaner before applying the Tank Cure Epoxy Coating.
•For aluminum tanks, use the Tank Cure Aluminum Tank Cleaner, then the Tank Cure Aluminum Tank Primer and the Tank Cure Epoxy Coating.
•For rusty tanks use the Tank Cure Cleaner, then remove the rust with Tank Cure Rust Remover and finally apply the Tank Cure Epoxy Coating.
•Tanks that require new internal lining because the old one is damaged should be treated first with Epoxy Remover.
•Tank Cure products come with detailed instructions. Read carefully and make sure you understand everything before starting treatments. You are using chemicals that can be harmful if used improperly.
•It takes approximately 7 days before the Tank Cure Epoxy Coating treatment is completely dry for you to use the tank.
Note: Do not use with tanks made of plastic, fiberglass or other composite materials due to chemical reactions.
