EXFIL-11 is made of 1680D super water and UV resistant polyester and easily attaches to any steel tank with incredibly powerful magnets. The interior is lined with high visibility orange nylon and has a convenient mesh case on the back and under the lid. Multiple audio cable glands allow you to charge phones and electronic devices with ease. The transparent case located on the lid is touch sensitive so that electronic devices can be used without opening it. Both sides are equipped with quick access hinges for easy access to important objects. EXFIL-11 will NOT connect to plastic, fiberglass or aluminum tanks. Due to their strength, these magnets can affect mobile electronic devices. Keeping your mobile phone in the outer pockets will minimize this potential problem. Friction between the magnetic mounting lugs and the gas tank is inevitable; slight damage to the paint may occur. Minimize this potential by thoroughly cleaning all contact points before attaching the bag to the bike. DO NOT place any material between the bag and the surface of the tank - this will reduce the force of the magnets. If your tank has a center console, open the bottom hinge before installation to expand the bag. To remove the bag, Lift - not drag - each mounting tab to reduce the risk of paint damage. Remove the bag when the bike is stored to extend the life of the paint finish.
