Daytime running light control unit HIGHSIDER DRL - BOX CB1 Daytime running light control unit for vehicles without light switch. According to the standard, the daytime running light must be connected so that it goes out automatically when the main headlight is switched on. Since the main headlight is always on in vehicles without a light switch, the daytime running light function cannot be used properly. The DRL CONTROLBOX CB1 was designed to ensure correct operation. This BOX ensures in combination with a HIGHSIDER LED headlight with TFL or a conventional headlight with bulb + separate HIGHSIDER TFL the correct functioning of the lighting system on the vehicle. It is installed between the HIGHSIDER LED main headlight with integrated TFL or between a conventional main headlight and a separate HIGHSIDER TFL and the vehicle electrical system. A separate on/off switch, e.g. 000479 (not included in the supply). NB: The position light function which is activated when the vehicle is parked via the ignition lock remains fully functional.
